Friday Finds - July 2014 - #1

1. Blog - I recently found this blog, GabiFresh, and I think it's fantastic! Gabi is a plus size fashionista who is breaking all the rules! I consider myself a curvy girl and it's refreshing to find someone who owns their body and celebrates that -- instead of trying to hide and conform to the "norm". Check it out for yourself! 
2. Food - I'm always looking for new and easy ideas for a fast healthy breakfast. These overnight oats are a great summer option. Eat warm or cold with you favorite toppings!
3. Hair - This take on the braid is simple, clean and something I think anyone could accomplish!
4. DIY - This simple switch can really brighten up a room! Display your artwork like a pro with bright and colorful matboard. 
5. Art - Have you ever seen anything like this before? I know I haven't! These amazing Splash Sculptures were created by Cassandra Warner and Jeremy Floto of Floto+Warner studio. 
6. Drink - Find out how to cold brew the prefect cup of iced coffee. There is a right way... and I had no idea!

Friday Finds - May 2014 - #1

1. Recipe: I spent many summer breaks as a kid eating fist fulls of Otter Pops. Here is a recipe for making your own. Berry Lemonade and Mango Orange sound so good for a warm afternoon!
2. Organization: I am in the process of redoing my at home office. I love the idea of a giant post-it calendar. I used them for everything else! Get some more tips here.
3. Furniture: This side table is soooo eye catching and stylish! The fun pop of color give this modern design great personality! Check out this table in more detail here. 
4. DIY: Make your own woven rug! If I was feeling crafty, this is defiantly something I would try making! Rugs can be so expensive and finding the right colors for the room can be tiresome. Find more details here.
5. Art: I am defiantly a fan of impressionism. This impressionist watercolor is so pretty! I love the artists depiction of reflections in the water and their use of warm and cool colors. See the whole image here.

2. Furniture: This gray chair is AMAZING! It would be the perfect green inspired design for a casual dinning set or desk. I love how it looks kind of like a leaf. Check out this chair in more detail here.
3. DIY: I am always looking for cute and inexpensive gift ideas. I have seen Sharpie mugs all over Pintrest and these are some of the best I have seen. Check out the artists Etsy shop here. 
4. Product: These mini stickers are an easy way to share and save your Instagram images. They are super cute and the small size means they can go almost anywhere. Check them out here.
5. Decor:  I love the idea of mixing warm metallic accessories in clean white environments. Super stylish! Check out more pretty things here.
